Bucktons fed birds fly to victory!
Bucktons are proud to announce that pigeons fed on their corns have flown to victory in two recent Racing Pigeon competitions.
Congratulations first to Mr Stuart Clyde for his win at the Up North Combine. His champion bird was fed on Bucktons corn, specifically our Super Widowhood and Xpert mixes, which helped it secure first place in this 600 mile race. The birds started at 5.30 am on Saturday and Mr Clyde\'s winner came in at 5.45 am Sunday.
Bucktons also congratulate Mr and Mrs G Fisher if Swineshead, Boston, who won the British International Championship Club race on 13th June 2009. The many competing birds flew out of Poitiers in France on the Saturday, but it was the Fishers\' bird that made it back first, with a fantastic win for the couple and for Bucktons too!
